Technical Information

HMN Series winglets are shaped around the original fairing geometry of each intended application, providing a precise, vehicle-specific fit.

  • TS Model: Carbon-fiber-reinforced thermoplastic

- Finish: Fine-textured black surface

- Mounting: Pre-applied 3M VHB adhesive

Mounting Instructions

The HMN mounting system features pre-applied 3M VHB adhesive and requires no drilling or permanent modification to the fairing.

  1. Test-fit both winglets and confirm final position before removing the adhesive liner.
  2. Confirm the mounting surfaces are clean, dry, and free from wax or coating residue.
  3. Install at an ambient temperature of 25–30°C (77–86°F), applying firm, even pressure across the entire bonding area.
  4. Allow at least 12 hours before riding or washing the motorcycle.
  5. Follow the supplied installation guide and use the included adhesion promoter as directed.

Care: Avoid direct contact with pressure washers, solvents, and strong acidic or alkaline cleaners.

Returns: Returns must be requested before the product is installed. Items must remain unused and uninstalled, with the adhesive liner intact and all original packaging and components included. Products with removed adhesive liners or signs of attempted installation cannot be returned.

Refunds: Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 10 business days after the returned item has been received and inspected. Original shipping charges, return shipping costs, duties, and taxes are non-refundable unless the item received is defective or incorrect.

Are these winglets compatible with my motorcycle?

Every HARMONIZE winglet kit is developed for a specific motorcycle model and model-year range. Please confirm the compatibility listed on the product page before ordering. Unless otherwise stated, fitment is based on original OEM fairings. Aftermarket or replacement bodywork may differ in shape and alignment; if you are unsure, contact us with your model year and photos of the motorcycle.

Are 3M VHB-mounted winglets secure at highway speeds?

HMN Series winglets use pre-applied 3M VHB adhesive across a model-specific contact surface rather than a universal mounting pad. 

When installed correctly, the HMN mounting system is designed for normal road use, including highway riding. 

Bond strength depends on a clean, dry surface, firm installation pressure, and sufficient bonding time. Do not install over wax, ceramic coating, silicone residue, or damaged paint. Leave the motorcycle indoors and undisturbed for at least 24 hours after installation, and avoid washing or sustained high-speed riding for 72 hours.

Do HMN winglets require drilling, and can they be removed later?

No drilling or permanent modification is required. HMN Series winglets mount directly to the fairing using pre-applied 3M VHB adhesive, making them suitable for owners who prefer to preserve the original bodywork. They can be removed carefully using controlled heat and the correct adhesive-removal process. Some residue may remain, and removal should be handled with additional care on repainted or repaired panels. The original adhesive must never be reused; fresh 3M VHB is required before reinstallation.

What are HARMONIZE motorcycle winglets made from?

Every material is selected for its strength-to-weight performance, dimensional stability, surface quality, and suitability for regular road use.

What if the winglets arrive damaged or do not fit correctly?

Do not remove the adhesive liner or attempt installation. Contact HARMONIZE with your order number and clear photos of the winglets, packaging, motorcycle, and affected fitment area. We will review the issue and arrange the appropriate replacement or return solution for confirmed shipping damage, manufacturing defects, or incorrect items. Eligible returns must remain unused, uninstalled, unmodified, and complete with their original packaging. Installation errors and compatibility issues involving non-OEM bodywork are not considered manufacturing defects.
